ADIDAS Originals MUTOMBO
さぁ、前回の更新からずいぶんと開きましたが、こればっかりは更新して自慢したい新スニーカーをゲットしたので更新しますよー。

Yes! these're MUTOMBOs!!
いやぁ、数ヶ月前、海外スニサイトで復刻の一報を発見した時、物凄く興奮したものです。
few months ago, when i found a topic said these're set to re-released, i was really excited.
…とか言って、実はこのモデルの存在自体、その復刻を伝える記事を見て思い出したんですけどねwああ、これあった！！そうだ、ムトンボだ！！って。
but actually I'd forgotten about this model was till I saw the topic.
選手自体に思い入れがあったわけではなく、ただこのモデルを95~6年のスニーカーブーム時代に雑誌で見かけて、そのルックスに一目ぼれしたモデル。しかし時は流れ、すっかりと存在を忘れていたんですが、その記事を見て一気にその想いが再燃！販売開始と同時に即買いしました。
cos, I wasn't a big fan of Mutombo. I just liked at first sight at a day in 1995~96(there's huge sneaker movement in japan then.).
so I ordered instantly when a shop started to take pre-ordere for these.
このモデルの特徴は何といってもこのでっかいタンと、

サイドのこのパターンですね。
square pattern on the upper.
タンは目の粗めのスポンジのような素材に、ラバー素材でロゴがプリントされてます。ちょっとプリントが頼りなくて、何かに引っかけたらすぐ剥がれちゃいそうで怖い…
tongue is made my thick sponge. Mutombo's logo is printed on the tongue.
the print's made by rubber, it seems very weak...
I'm afraid it come out if I hitch the print to somewhere...
アンクル部分にはムトンボ選手の背番号55が。この字体、アーリー90's感満点でたまりませんなぁ。。。
His number 55 is on the unkle in yellow. I love the style of the text! It makes me kinda 90's feeling. you think?
アンクル後方にはアッパーと同じパターンがエンボスされてます。見えにくいけど、ミッドソールには「adidas」の刻印も。

タン裏には黒赤でパターンが。インソールにはトレフォイル。

紙タグはこんな感じで、何とステッカーになってます。貼る勇気はないけど、こういうの良いなぁ。

最後に軽く試着。サイズ感は、フォーラムやアティチュードあたりのレトロバッシュと同じ感じで、土踏まず高めで幅狭め、つま先低めのアディダスらしい形。AF1やダンク辺りと比べるともうちょっときつめに感じるので、幅広甲高の人はハーフサイズ～1サイズアップが必要かも？
last but not least, I try these on.
the fitting is almost same as some Adidas's retro ball shoes like Forums or Atitudes.
but narrower and tighter than NIKE's AF1 or DUNKs, so some people should choose 1/2 or 1 size bigger.
歩き心地は、クッション性に関してはまあこの年代のモノでは特に良くも悪くもなく普通、といったところだけど、見た目に反して意外にも軽い！つま先のキュっとしたフィット感とボリューミーでふんわりした質感のタンが相まって、なかなか悪くない履き心地。アディダスのレトロバッシュだと、アティチュード、フォーラム、コンコルドあたり履いた事あるけど、その中では一番良い感じかも。
The cushons are so-so. not bad but not very good actually.
but these are much lighter than i expected!.
しかしやっぱりタンのインパクトが凄い！僕は基本的にバッシュは紐を一番上まで通してピッチリ履きたい方なんですけど、こいつはタンを目立たせるためにもあえて全部とさず、紐を緩めてルーズに履きたいすな～。
more than anything, the tongue has a lot of impact!
I usually wear high-cut shoes with lacing the lace through to the top eyelets, I'd wear these without lacing tight. I think it's better way for these. agree?
というわけで、以上アディダス ムトンボのレポでした。いやいや、待った甲斐あってかなり良い感じですよこれ。実は、同時期に予約開始だったREEBOKのシャックノーシスとどっちにするかでかなり迷ったんだけど…こっちにして正解だったかも！なんて思ってます。

honestly, I wanted to get a pair of Shaqnosiss, but i chose these. I think it's correct :).
…でもノーシス、やっぱほしいな…発売日にマイサイズのこってたら買っちゃうかも。。。
... but, I wanna get the nosiss too. I may get a pair if I could find my size of these at the release day...
